Information about the Talent Rock Modeling Convention

Founded in November 2003, Talent Rock provides a unique opportunity for the entertainment industry to discover aspiring talent and for talent to learn about the industry through workshops and networking opportunities.

The widely admired talent search events, held in top travel destinations, showcase aspiring actors, comedians, dancers, models and vocalists to more than 100 of the world’s top professionals in the entertainment industry. In addition to the chance to see and be seen by these industry movers and shakers, the event offers the opportunity to gain important knowledge on many facets of the entertainment world through various industry workshops as well as the possibility of making life-long friends with those who share similar goals and dreams. The event also allows attendees to enjoy special performances by current stars and up-and-coming musical acts.

Listed are the sub-categories of the model competition, based on height, age, gender and size:

  • Child Commercial Print (ages 5 - 12, males and females)
  • Teen Commercial Print (ages 13 - 17, males and females)
  • Young Adult Commercial Print (ages 18 - 29, males and females)
  • Sophisticate Commercial Print (ages 30 and older, males and females)
  • High Fashion (ages 13 - 25 for females & 15 - 25 for males)
  • Fitness (ages 18 and older, males and females, swimsuit required)



What should I expect?
1. Most conventions have large turnouts, causing the competition to be more fierce.
2. Many models may be much more experienced than you.
3. Many of the models will already have excellent portfolios.
4. There is no “one on one” contact with agents, that is just not possible at such a large event.
5. They can tend to be long and agonizingly brutal
